This meeting is for Juniors and graduating Seniors interested in Fulbright-sponsored international research/study for 2009-10; you must be a citizen to be eligible for Fulbright-IIE.  Both sessions are the same. The campus deadline for the Fulbright-IIE competition will be mid-September. The minimum requirement is that you have completed your undergraduate degree by the start of your fellowship. If you are graduating in May 2008, you can apply for a Fulbright. You do not have to be enrolled in a graduate program to apply.

The Fulbright Student Programs are among the U.S. Government’s most well-known and prestigious international research and study programs.

The information session will introduce the Fulbright U.S. Student program administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE). The Fulbright-IIE funds a wide range of activities, including independent research, a course of study at an institution overseas, English teaching opportunities, etc. It cannot be used to fund an undergraduate study abroad program.
