Click here for the 2008-2009 Campus Instructions.

The application is entirely electronic. Because this is an institutional grant program, there is a separate campus deadline and a national closing deadline. The Noon, October 26, 2007 deadline is required for all UW-Madison graduate students. The campus deadline is for  ALL application materials, including submission of all letters of recommendation, language evaluations, letters of affiliation electronically. One original transcript from each graduate only institution is required in hard copy in 328 Ingraham by the campus deadline.

The address for the electronic application is http://e-grants.ed.gov. Word and pdf application materials are available through www.ed.gov/programs/iegpsddrap/index.html for your convenience. Campus instructions are at www.intl-institute.wisc.edu/fellow.

You are required to submit a Word doc human subjects narrative to me via email, fellow@intl-institute.wisc.edu, by the campus deadline, in addition to the submission of your electronic application. You will need information from the “Documents and Instructions” of the electronic application, section “Instructions for the ED Supplement to the SF 424” in preparing the Human Subjects narrative. This is a best faith effort; keep the narrative short. Decisions on whether to award a grant will NOT be based on this narrative and there are no negative consequences should your assessment of whether or not you need IRB approval for your project prove to be incorrect. You do not need to go through IRB review at this time.

If you have questions, please contact me at fellow@intl-institute.wisc.edu
